Rabbi Bernis makes a very valid point in regards to Americans having no idea what it must feel like to have the threat of missiles raining down on our heads. Can you imagine the stress of that on a daily basis? And yet, this could come our way soon if the radical Muslim Brotherhood has its way about the Little and Great Satans.
I just finished a novel by Joel C. Rosenberg, titled ‘The Twelfth Imam’, which details a very realistic scenario that could usher in Iran’s twelfth Mahdi, a nuclear war and the Armageddon; all in the name of Allah.
People want to blame God and Christians for evil done in the name of religion, while ignoring all the horrendous acts against believers and non-believers by Atheists. The fact remains that man is capable of doing great good or great evil. We choose whom we obey. Paul said not all who call themselves Israel are really Israelites. Jesus said that many will do miraculous things in His Name, and yet He will say to them that He doesn’t know them. Man is able to walk in his carnal wisdom without any spiritual light upon his soul at all, producing evil in the name of good. John said to test the spirits to see whether they be from God or from the devil. Is that really an angel guide or a demon from hell?
Jesus Christ calls for world peace, as the Prince of Peace, yet the devil calls for violence, destruction and death. Jesus came to heal and to give life more abundantly, yet the world is filled with darkness and suffering. There is a war going on in the spiritual realm around us for the souls of men. The kingdom of Light versus the Kingdom of Darkness. Man has to choose to do good and live for Christ. Man doesn’t have to do anything to live for the devil. This world is ruled by the devil and our flesh was born of this earth, naturally doing what is earthly.
Consider the email, visit the website, and consider sending an offering for a good cause. They that pray for and bless Israel will be blessed by God. They that curse Israel will be cursed by God. Israel is a modern day miracle under a covenant between God and Abraham. She is not going anywhere. The Iranians, the Muslim Brotherhood, and her Russian allies will try to wipe her off the face of the earth, but God will come Himself and fight for her. Jesus will return Himself and reign as the Son of David from Jerusalem. It all has been prophesied from thousands of years ago.
“And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.” Ezekiel 38: 1-6

From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. Dear James,
When he arrived on his first trip to Israel as president yesterday, President Obama publicly declared that the United States has an unbreakable bond with the Jewish state. Mr. Obama said he was “confident in declaring that our alliance is eternal. The United States is proud to stand with you as your strongest ally and your greatest friend.”
Mr. Obama’s meetings with Israeli leaders continue today along with visits to important Jewish sites, including the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. In addition, the President will be meeting with Palestinian leaders and traveling to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. As the crisis in the Middle East continues to boil, the threat to Israel and the need for support from the United States is great.
Of particular concern is the continuing civil war in Syria. Unconfirmed reports surfaced this week of the use of chemical weapons in Aleppo. Both the Assad government and the rebel forces accused the other of using them. Israel has been extremely concerned about the control of these weapons because they pose such a serious threat to the Jewish population in the hands of terrorists. Another major issue Mr. Obama and Mr. Netanyahu are focused on is Iran. Mr. Obama continues to push Israel to avoid launching a military effort against the Iranian nuclear program.
All of the unrest in the region is taking a great toll on the daily lives of Jewish People. They are living with a level of threat and danger that is almost impossible for us to imagine. We simply don’t have to worry that missiles will rain down on our homes and our children’s schools at any moment, or that there might be a chemical weapons attack that would send us diving for the gas masks.
