Scriptures on the Holy Spirit

heart worship

I am amazed by the number of scriptures referring to the Holy Spirit, and yet so many modern Christians insist on worshiping God with their mental and vocal skills without ever touching the Spirit of Almighty God!

Church was never meant to be a gathering together of believers to be entertained by the musical skills of singers and oratorical skills of a preacher. Church was meant to be a spiritual habitation for the Holy Spirit of God to minister to the needs of His body, locally and around the globe.

Only as you individually lift up your voice from your spirit, will a group of two or three gathered together in His Name be able demonstrate to all that God is in you; for He dwells in the praises of His people.

Read these scriptures again with these thoughts in mind and see if God desires entertainment or heart-felt spirit worship.

They that worship God must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Your human spirit has to touch His Holy Spirit in agreement with His Truth which is His Word as recorded in the Holy Bible.
