The Radical and Apocalyptic Islam followers are trying to start Armageddon to be able to establish an Islamic Caliphate ruled by their 12th Imam.
A New York Times reporter wrote an article recently entitled “U.S. Strategy Seeks To Avoid ISIS Prophecy.” He says these followers are basing their ideology on prophetic texts stating that Islam will be victorious after an apocalyptic battle to be set off once Western armies come to the region.
The Independent News reports that Putin has praised the Russian cruise missiles fired against terrorists in Syria from the sea. He expressed hope that these weapons would not have to be armed with nuclear warheads.
Isaiah chapter seventeen and Psalm 83 both foretell the destruction of Damascus where ISIS has one of its strongholds. Dabiq is one of the cities of Syria that ISIS believes must be conquered to be able to establish its Caliphate in the Middle East.
The Caliphate is a term to describe the Islamic State led by a Caliph, and is a revival of the old Ottoman Empire that was defeated in 1920. The Caliph to rule the Caliphate will be the successor of Muhammad or the 12th Imam.
The apocalyptic battle must happen to usher in this 12th Imam and establish the Caliphate and usher in the return of Jesus Christ to help convince the whole world to convert to Islam. Jesus is believed by Islam to be a prophet, but not the Son of God. They don’t believe that God has any sons. Their Jesus is not the Jesus of Christians or of the Bible.
Will the gathering together of major world powers in Syria and Iraq be the beginning of the fulfillment of this prophecy regarding Damascus and Dabiq?

2016-2025 will change the world as we know it and America will no longer be a world power, nor will there be freedom of speech or movement or religion. Jesus promised to return and He will do so to rescue His followers and to bring judgement on all who deny His Deity.
