Jehovah’s Witnesses Teach Another Jesus

“For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.” (II Corinthians 11:4)

“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Galations 1:6-9)

Jehovah’s Witnesses use The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. If you take the time to examine the core teachings of Christianity against Jehovah’s Witnesses teachings, you will see that they distort and change the wording of the Bible in their translation to fit their false teachings about Jesus Christ.

When they translated their translation of the Bible they deliberately altered almost every scripture on the Deity of Christ, to make him only a creature.

The Society used a translation by a “spirit medium,” Johannes Greber, to support their rendering of John 1:1 with full knowledge that his sources were DEMONIC.  Not one of their “translating committee” knew Biblical Greek or Hebrew.

This is the very thing that Paul warns the church at Corinth and Galatia: the preaching of another gospel. If that gospel does not agree with Paul’s gospel, which he received straight from Jesus Christ, then it is to be rejected even if it comes from an angel and the false messenger is to be accursed. This is strong language.

John Ankerberg interviews former Jehovah’s Witnesses Joan Cetnar, Brian Garcia, and Bob Gray. They share JW’s beliefs about Jesus Christ, which are contrary to what Christians believe from the Christian Bible. • JW’s say all other denominations are of the devil and that your pastor or priest is under the control of Satan.
  • JW’s say that the Watchtower Society is the only source of truth today and all other groups will be destroyed at Armageddon.
  • JW’s say that all other Christian literature is “apostate” and evil. By accepting their literature, you are saying to them that their literature is not “apostate.”
  • JW’s say the Christ child was only an “it” not a “He”.
  • JW’s say that Jesus is not the Almighty God but a lesser god.
  • JW’s say that Jesus is the Archangel Michael.
  • JW’s say Jesus is not the “I AM”.
  • JW’s say Jesus is not to be worshipped.
  • JW’s say Jesus did not resurrect bodily but as a Spirit.
  • JW’s say Jesus died on a stake instead of a cross and had His hands together over His head fastened with one nail.
  • JW’s say the cross is a pagan sex symbol and all churches displaying the cross are pagan.
  • JW’s say Jesus is a created being.
  • JW’s say Jesus was buried in the tomb, dissolved into gases, and his body disappeared forever.
  • JW’s say that Armageddon and Christ’s second coming would happen in 1874, 1914, 1925, and 1975, proving false prophecies by a false prophet. When Jesus failed to show up physically, He was said to have returned invisibly, starting with 1914.
  • JW’s say Jesus was only a man when on earth, not the “Word made flesh.”
  • JW’s say hell is simply the grave. The soul is dead.
  • JW’s say only 144,000 can enter heaven’s gates.
  • JW’s say the majority of Jehovah’s Witnesses must remain on earth.
  • JW’s say salvation is only through their organization.
  • JW’s say salvation can only be maintained through energetic works.
  • JW’s say there is no eternal punishment of the lost.
  • JW’s say that soon Jehovah God will become a Grandfather and Jesus will be promoted to “Everlasting Father.”

We are living in a society that believes Jesus to be many different things, except the Son of God and the only way to eternal life. Some groups have used demonic spirit guides to establish organizations and teachings that deny the Divinity of Jesus Christ and His becoming the Atonement for our sins. If we are deceived into believing these false gospels, then we are lost and will spend eternity with the evil one.

We need to pray that God opens the eyes of those being deceived to know the Truth that is only found in Jesus Christ as the only True God.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever.” (I Timothy 1:17)

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” (I John 4:1-3)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” (John 11:25-27)

Do you know where you will spend eternity when you die?

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:18)

“Therefor let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom you have crucifies, both Lord and Christ.”

“Now when they heard this, they were convicted in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

“The Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:36-38)
