Encouraging or Uncovering the Deceit?

deceit

I John 1:7 “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who profess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist.”

I John 1:9 “Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.”

I John 1:10 “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Godspeed.”

I John 1:11 “For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

The Apostle John was pretty explicit about separating ourselves from anything and anyone that is in opposition to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Our house would also include our body and soul, for they are the temple of the Lord.

When you arise to go about your way today, who are you inviting and encouraging into your heart and soul?

We live in a world of deceit where looking into one’s eye and shaking their hand means nothing anymore. God knows what is in each heart and is able to give you that discernment as you spend time with Him in prayer and study of His Word. He gives this to His people to enable them to not be deceived by false teachings and false spirits, and to be able to stay separate from anything that defiles the teaching of Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

It is time that each believer in Christ take a stand for what is Truth and proclaim it with conviction that comes from personal experience. Let us be silent no more about what Jesus Christ means to each of us before the world.
