The Voice of Christ’s Blood in ours

abel's blood voiceAnd the LORD said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground. Genesis 4:10

“….and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24

How can blood cry or speak?

Claire Sylvia received a heart transplant from an 18-year-old male who died in a motorcycle accident. She reported having a craving for beer and chicken nuggets after the surgery. She had recurring dreams about a man named ‘Tim L.’ When researching the obits she found her donor’s name was Tim and that he loved all the food that she had craved. Her book ‘Change of Heart’ details her experiences.

An Australian girl, Demi-Lee Brennan, received a liver transplant. The doctors discovered that her blood type had changed to that of the donor’s; and she also received the donor’s immune system due to the stem cells of her new liver transferring over to her bone marrow.

In another heart transplant, a man had dreams of seeing hot flashes of light directly on his face. His donor died from a gunshot to the face.

Medical science refers to this as cell memory. The memories of the cells in the organs, or in the blood of the organs, can transfer to the recipient of the organ or blood. This is why we need to pray over organs and blood before they are put into our bodies, asking God to purify and sanctify it.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7

The Hebrew word for soul is nephesh, meaning life. ‘Man became a living life’ is how the scripture could read. Some translations render it as a living being or a living creature.
God told Moses, who taught the children of Israel, that they should not eat the flesh of animals with the blood.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.” Leviticus 17:11

The ‘life or ‘soul’ is in the blood. The ‘blood’ or ‘soul’ is what makes atonement.

God is my Father

When Jesus died on the cross, the soldiers pierced His side and there came out blood and water. John 19:34

Blood and water are both physical, yet the water represents the Spirit of God, via the Holy Spirit, as Living Waters that flow from the inner most parts of man.

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, “Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

Jesus poured out His Blood, or His soul, to make atonement for our sinful souls. He poured out His Spirit as water to revive our carnal natural dead spirits. The Spirit of Christ represents the soul of Christ. A soul for a soul is required for atonement under the Law.

The heart of man is his inner most being. The inner man is the seat of mental and spiritual life. The heart is the seat of feeling, thought, moral judgments, conscience, and inner awareness. It is the personality of man. It is the soul and spirit tied together in a mystery.

Proverbs 4:23 says the heart or inner man is the origin of the issues of life. Psalm 139:13-14 David says God formed his inward parts, or his spirit and living soul.

Man consists of body, soul and spirit. I Thessalonians 5:23 and Hebrews 4:12 shows us that the soul can be separated from the spirit by the power of the living Word of God.

Man is a spirit with a soul living inside a body, until the Rapture when Christ grants us a glorified body like His.

Why does the spirit and soul need to be separated?

All have been born into sin, with a fallen natural nature that desires the things of the flesh and of the world instead of the things of God.

“For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.” Galatians 5:17

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” I Corinthians 2:14
spiritual person

Jesus told Nicodemus that the only way to reconcile the natural to the spiritual was through a New Birth experience. “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3:7
Your soul desires the things of the flesh and of the world. The New Birth infuses our spirit with the Spirit of Christ, which has a undefiled spiritual soul.

The memory cells of Christ’s Blood, Soul, Spirit, and Living Water begin to change our carnal natural soul into His Character so that we begin to desire the things that He desires and dislike the things that He dislikes. We associate with people who are of like-spirit, and disassociate from people of the wrong spirit.

The change of heart starts at the New Birth and continues on into a lifetime of Sanctification. Sanctification is a separation from those things that displease the spirit or soul of Christ dwelling in our spirits and souls. What grieves Christ grieves our hearts because we have His heart flowing in our spirits. Our very blood has been changed to flow with His Life mingled together with our life. We begin to have the Mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2:16

Abel’s blood cries for justice. Christ’s Blood satisfies that justice.

blood and water of Christ

Just as the martyrs of Revelation 6:9-11 cry out with a loud voice for judgment and avengement of their blood, so does the blood of every aborted baby cry out today, so does the blood of every soul unjustly killed by abuse, enslavement, addiction, oppression, and possession of evil, and of violence, or in war cry out today. Jesus said “from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.” Luke 11:51

A mother in Baltimore, Md., charged with fatally stabbing her two young sons, told police that ‘voices’ told her to do it. They were 6 years old and 23 months old. Their souls in their blood cries to God.

A Staten Island man tried to sell his 2-month-old-baby on Craigslist for $100.00, because she had asthma and was getting on his nerves.

A young child was found in a garbage bin by a driveway. Another mother threw her new-born baby, with the umbilical cord still attached, into a garbage compacter. Both children were found when people heard their crying.

There is so much evil in the world that it’s becoming more and more evil each day. Those who suffer, those who die, have their very soul crying to God. Paul says the whole world groans under the curse of sin and longs for Christ’s return as Prince of Peace and King of kings.

The next time you take communion, think about the Blood of Christ as you drink the wine or the grape juice, and remember that He poured out His Soul on the cross to give you a Blood Transfusion that cries out for better things than Abel’s blood.

We as Christians cry out for the Hope we have of sharing eternity with Christ, where there is no more violence, pain, suffering, or crying out for justice and vengeance.
