Saints Shall Judge Angels

“Do you not know that we are to judge angels? ” (I Corinthians 6:3)

Good angels need no judgment. The fallen angels are awaiting their judgment.

God made man a little lower than the angels.

Angels are more powerful and have more authority than man. So what is meant by a “little lower?”

Adam communicated directly with Jehovah God in the Garden of Eden, until he sinned. Some scholars believe that there was no separation between God’s third heaven and the garden when He walked with Adam and Eve. The unseen world of angels was visible before sin separated man from God.

When Lucifer rebelled against God, he took one-third of the angels with him into spiritual darkness.

A group of angels, called ‘Watchers,’ appointed over the seventy nations, left their level of authority and did unspeakable violent, immoral acts in Genesis chapter six.  These angels are in chains of darkness until the Book of Revelation when they are released for a season under the Antichrist.

  • Adam was tempted to sin against God by the serpent, also known as the devil.
  • Satan accused Job of serving God only for His benefits.
  • Satan accused Joshua, the High Priest during the time of Zechariah, of having filthy or sinful garments.
  • Satan attacked Jesus for forty days in the wilderness immediately after His Father unveiled His Messiahship at His baptism by John.
  • Satan is known as the accuser of the brethren in Revelation 12:10.

Satan is the same as Lucifer, the Son of the Morning. He was a high ranking Cherub who covered the throne of God and led heaven’s choir in worship. He reflected the Glory of God as a created angel. He had no glory or light within himself. Satan became total darkness as God cast him out of His third heaven. Jesus says the devil has no light in him. Satan is now the god of all spiritual darkness, and leads men around the globe into sin, rebellion, immorality, and violence; destroying their individual lives, and the peace and beauty of the nations of the earth.

Satan has never had a body of flesh to hinder him. He knows nothing of denying the flesh to pursue spiritual hunger for God. He has never suffered the pain that only a body of flesh can bring, in sickness, in disease, and in death. He knows nothing of going forty days without food. He knows nothing about losing sons and daughters in a wind storm. He knows nothing about the burden of confessing the sins of the tribes of Israel. He only knows it causes humans and their God great pain and grief. Satan’s job is to steal, kill and destroy.

Daniel informs us that unclean, evil, animal-like spirits influence and control world leaders to rule their people oppressively. These spirits are controlled by Lucifer who eventually raises up one world leader as the Antichrist to destroy the earth and kill billions of people.

  • Daniel says at the end of time; God will appoint saints to have the legal authority to rule the world. (Daniel 7:27)
  • Paul wrote Timothy saying, “If we endure, we will also reign with Him.” (II Timothy 2:12)
  • Jesus revealed to John that those who overcome the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation would be given authority to reign with Him for one thousand years. (Revelation 20:4-6)

I believe that God is using fleshly human beings as testimonies against the devil. The saints, or believers in Christ, will judge angels by their faithfulness to Christ and by denying the temptations of the enemy to bring darkness to that which God has called Light and Good.

The Saints during the tribulation will overcome the evil Antichrist by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Jesus will judge all people by His Word, which He has spoken to them.

God rebuked Satan and removed the filthy clothes of Joshua, saying that Joshua was a brand plucked from the fire.” (Zechariah 3:1-5)

God has many fire-brands around the world who are constantly being accused by the devil. He reminds them of their guilt and shame over their many wrong choices and sinful behavior. They constantly are confessing their sins and the sins of their people to their God asking for mercy and salvation and for His Kingdom to come to earth as it is in heaven.

God rebukes the devil today, just as he did for Joshua. He removes the sin-stained clothing for you and me with His precious Blood of Atonement.

You and I and billions of others will one day stand before God clothed with His Robes of White-Righteousness, while He calls Satan before His White Throne clothed in his filth.

God will allow the testimony of each believer to silence the accusations of the enemy once and for all. Based upon the testimony of the saints, the Lord will once again rebuke the devil, as He points to our sins covered with His Blood. He will then fulfill His prophetic Word as recorded in Revelation 20:10:

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

The next time you feel overwhelmed with the cares of this life. The next time you feel like your prayers for deliverance go unanswered, the next time it seems that your loved ones will never turn to God, the next time you suffer pain, sickness or disease; know that the devil is a liar and that your testimony will see him cast into hell-fire for eternity!

Man is a little lower than the angels while in this body of flesh, but soon, Jesus will transform these bodies into the likeness of His Glorious Body. Then, just like Adam and Eve, we will be able to see as God sees and to know as God knows.

You as a Blood Washed Saint, will Judge Fallen Angels!
