The Anointed Birthright

The spirit world around us is invisible. We can’t see those spirits around us, but from time to time we can ‘feel’ their presence. Spirits, whether good or evil, need a channel to express themselves through.

The evil sections of a city are evil because of the evil deeds that people do over a period of time. When more people are doing bad things than good people doing good things, the scale is tipped, and that area is characterized as ‘evil.’ You can ‘feel’ the evil when you drive through that area of town, and you lock your doors, avoid eye contact, pray like crazy and get out of Dodge as soon as possible.

God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

This simply means that in order to ‘feel’ God’s invisible Spirit, we must contact His Spirit with our human spirit. This contact must agree with the teachings of His Word. Our human spirit was created to fellowship with God’s Spirit. This is why Jesus said, “You must be Born Again.”  (John 3:7)

Paul said, “God is not far from anyone of us if we ‘feel’ after Him. (Acts 17:27)

Our educated society has taught us not to be emotional, or to express our ‘feelings’ too loudly. Many teach that emotions cannot be relied upon, as they can change with the circumstances of one’s life. The Bible teaches that we are to ‘feel’ after God not with our emotions, but with our spirit.

‘Feeling’ after God with the human spirit is always guided by the ‘Truth’ of His Word.

The ‘Firstborn’ of men and animals belonged to Jehovah God. When Israel was delivered from Egyptian slavery, God saved all the children of Israel from harm and death.

God considered the ‘Firstborn’ son a ‘channel’ for His anointed blessings to flow to the future generations of the family.

  • The firstborn son became the head of the family upon his father’s death.
  • His father bestowed a special blessing upon the firstborn son before he died.
  • The firstborn son received a double portion of his father’s wealth.
  • The firstborn son was responsible for the physical and spiritual welfare of the family

When God delivered Israel from Egypt, He claimed the firstborn sons of Israel as His for priestly duties. He later transferred these duties to the tribe of Levi.

Jesus became our High Priest as the Firstborn Son of God and the firstborn from the grave. As His sons and daughters, we become a kingdom of priests to help intercede for others.

Israel as a nation was designated by God to be His ‘Firstborn’ among the nations. Israel was to be an example to all the nations of the world in their worship of God and obedience to His Word.

The firstborn was to be a ‘channel’ for God’s Holy Spirit to minister to those around them. God has given man free will to choose to be a ‘channel’ for good or evil.

  • If a man chooses to yield to evil desires, he attracts evil spirits to assist him.
  • If a man chooses to yield to good desires, he attracts holy spirits to assist him.
  • The deeds of a good man are anointed by the Lord.

Everything we do in agreement with the Word of God attracts the power of God to move into the nations of this world for salvation and blessings.

The anointing of God falls upon all who desire to be Born Again (Firstborn) sons and daughters of God to reign with Christ as kings and priests for all eternity.

You are a priest as a Born Again believer in Christ for the purpose of blessing and interceding for those around you. You have been born first before others to carry responsibility for the physical and spiritual welfare of all that God uses you to influence.

As a priest of Christ, you need to pray with Christ in intercession for others, and you need to bless others with the priestly blessing.

“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” (Romans 8:34)

 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them,

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

“So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:22-27)
